Many graduates of our gas technician school are men and women who are currently working in fields within the skilled trades community. Many of these students have been sent by their employer to gain additional skills in the field. For example, a plumbing company may want their plumbers to be certified in the HVAC industry, or a refrigeration technician may want to learn the gas tech job so he/she can repair, fix, maintain, and inspect gas appliances and gas lines as well as refrigeration appliances. Many of the students at our school are also simply looking to upgrade their existing TSSA gas technician level of training. We have had numerous students who have only had a Gas Technician 3 ticket, and have completed the training to become fully certified.
