The course will teach students the basics of residential air conditioning over 4 days (1 day a week for 4 weeks). It will give students the theoretical knowledge they need to succeed in their apprenticeships, and further exceed in their careers.

What will I learn?

After the 4 week learning period is complete, students will leave the course well versed in theoretical and practical training dealing with working with residential AC. The training involves things like residential AC system component identification, and tools used when working on residential air conditioning systems.

The course also focuses on residential AC system theory and operation, system maintenance, and system installation requirements so that students leave with a full understanding of how to install and maintain AC units. They also leave with skills of basic troubleshooting and service standards for the systems.
